“How to Win Friends and Influence People” by D.Carnegie

I like reading good books related to topics like psychology, religion, coaching, self-development, and computer science 🤓 . In the books category, I share with you my opinion and thoughts about what I read that I think is good. I can recommend you read some of these books like the one which helps get new friends.

About Book

This is a book I recommend reading. It is about self-development and human relationships.

As Dale Carnegie wrote in “How to Win Friends and Influence People” people had to wait for few millennials until writing work would come to light about human relationships, how to communicate and how to maintain friendships especially in business conditions.

He meant that before his work there was none of writing works about that stuff, literally 🧐 . Of course, I might be wrong because I don’t know all books of that kind and I don’t know if Dale knew.

This business and self-development book teaches you how to prosper good and live peacefully with people 😌 .

I think the Bible can be considered as a work that tells people how to live together. It tells that but not directly, in plain words like Dale’s book 👍 .

In the Bible, you have to find a meaning of the written word, sometimes very obvious meaning. In Dale’s work you have everything on the plate but more in business context just because this is less or more business book.

The title says all. Dale uses more examples from life than academic language ☺️ . Explain how proper communication works between two players who play in a non-zero-sum game.

To have a win-win result Dale suggests following a few rules, something so simple like for example smiling 🙂 .

Sometimes you don’t have to do anything just except listening new business partner story to close that sale as Dale suggests.

Conclusions

Improvements that everyone can do written in the recommended book may seem even obvious but many people don’t apply them to everyday life 😔 .

Probably it is because many people never thought that remembering someone’s full name might be important or never thought how they can improve that area of life till they read that book. I was that person too 🤓 .

To sum up I have to admit that “How to Win Friends and Influence People” was one of the most important books I read in my life along with “The Power of Positive Thinking” by Norman Vincent Peale and the Gospel in Bible.
